You may want to register your design(s) outside the territory of Romania, in order to obtain protection in all Member States of the European Union (EU), in non-EU Member States or in other States. The Hague System for the International Registration of Designs offers a centralized international registration system, in which case you can file up to 100 designs online in over 60 territories in a single application, which could be used to claim priority over other subsequent registration applications.

Romania is a party to the Acts of the Hague Agreement - 1960 (Hague) and 1999 (Geneva). Any natural or legal person from Romania can file an international application within the Hague System.
